LAB OVERVIEW
The “The invisible look” laboratory directed by Emma Dante is based on the synergy between theory and extemporaneous practice, extrapolated from the formative imagination of one of the most poetic directors on the Italian scene.
During the two days of workshops reserved for each class, the actors will explore and trace an authorial path through improvisations on the theme of domestic routine.
With the presence of an operator who directs the cameraand the punctual interventions of the director, we will build a story special and unique, reinventing an apparently boring and insignificant everyday life, slowly revealing it in a crescendo of self-perception and communication.
LAB CLOSE-UP
EXERCISES IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA – The actor-author
Actors and actresses will give space to their authorship, entrusting their expressive style, in a limited and intimate phase, to the camera as an unauthorized gaze.
DOMESTIC PATH – The communicative face
We will explore the communicative dexterity, and therefore the truth, of an active face: inside a room, set up to appear everyday, the participants are invited to complete a routine path built on site by the director.
WHAT'S INSIDE YOUR BAG? – The action of conviction
This last piece of improvisation is the experience of persuasion, the game of identification

AVAILABILITY AND SELECTION METHOD
The Workshop has a limited number of participants, with a maximum of 20 participants per class. After the Workshop, all participants will receive a certificate of participation, video material and backstage photos via email.
